it works
Family documentary photography captures the story of your family life right now: nothing posed or directed; just real life moments, beautifully photographed. This is how I make it happen:

We’ll start by talking about your typical day and choose a few activities you and your family love to do together. If there’s anything special you’d like photographed, like a birthday, a trip to the beach, perhaps grocery shopping with three children under 3, we’ll make it happen. We’ll decide on how much time we should spend together and set a date on the calendar.

photo day
You don’t need you to do anything except be yourself. And remember, I’ve been documenting the real lives of families for years; I have seen it all.

two weeks later
I’ll send over a viewing gallery with the best shots from your session. You are going to see yourself and your family in a whole new way. I’m going to show you how beautiful you are, just as you are. And all those little moments you were busy living, you’ll now get to see in beautiful photos. YOU get to decide which photos you want to keep or you can decide that you want to purchase your complete gallery.
I wanted images that don't ignore the struggles of parenting but that elevate them through art. I have always been drawn to these kinds of pictures, and now I have them of myself.
